U34: The ms. is written in ink with pencil corrections and the paper has 2 holes on the left
side. The 1st sketch is related to the draft on U33. The other 2 are a 4 bar sketch for the
Allegro (using the row for the movement found on U33) and a 3 bar sketch for the Moderato
U35: Two, two bar sketches using the row for the movement found on U33.
U27a, U458: The ms. is written in pencil on paper with hand-lined staves drawn in blue ink
and consists of an alternative version of bars 51-56. Two holes are punched in the left side.
U27A, U542: Row chart written as a carbon copy on hand-lined staves drawn in black ink.
Corrections are in black ink. The ms. is written on a piece of cardboard (21.7 x 23.6 cm.)
watermarked "SHELBURNE BOND" on the verso.
U27B, U543: The recto of this leaf contains a 1 bar fragment of a 6 voice mirror composition
(SSATTB); there are 2 holes at the left side. The verso contains a row sketch of the basic set
and the inversion at the lower 5th divided into hexachords.
U27C, U544: The ms. is written on paper (18.6 x 21.6 cm.) with hand-lined staves in blue
ink; the verso is blank. The 1st bar and top melodic line are written in blue ink; the remainder
of the ms. is in pencil and is crossed-out. It consists of chordal sketches ending in a fermata
based on the basic set transposed a tritone.
U27D, U545: The ms. is written on paper (21.6 x 28 cm.) with hand-lined staves in blue ink
having 2 holes on the left side. The ms. consists of a 6 bar sketch using the basic set. The
verso is blank.
